A new wave is blowing through the virtual idol market.

The five-member virtual idol group IONEIT, launched by OnMind, is the protagonist. IONEIT consists of five members: Saebyeok, Chanyou, Leon, Yu-an, and Wooju. Their world is based on a youth story of encounters and growth at the magic school, 'Inchantium'.

IONEIT released their debut single 'LUMOS' on the 28th of last month. This song carries the meaning of "we will illuminate the world with the light we meet with you," and is filled with their refreshing charm. They have been communicating with fans through live broadcasts since before their debut, and are rapidly growing with over 8,000 YouTube subscribers and over 10,000 Instagram followers.

The members of IONEIT are characters with their own magical abilities, and they shared their feelings about their debut as well as their affection for their abilities.

Saebyeok said that she was disappointed that her 'wind' ability hadn't manifested yet, but expressed a positive will to grow further with the help of her members. Chanyou said that she was surprised at first about her 'light' ability, but hopes that this light will become healing for many people. Leon conveyed the powerful yet warm charm of his 'fire' ability, and Yu-an said he wants to create moments that shine like jewels with his 'earth' ability. Wooju expressed a desire to deliver the coolness of mid-summer to fans using her 'water' ability.

When asked about communication with the public, the members said that although direct face-to-face interaction is difficult, they value genuine interaction with fans. Saebyeok said that she puts her regrets into the autographs and handwritten letters she sends to fans, and Chanyou said, "My heart is strong," and expressed that she feels enough connection even online. The members of IONEIT expressed their hope to meet fans in person at fan meetings or concerts, and are looking forward to that day.

When asked about the strengths of IONEIT, the members each chose their vocal tones, visuals, and the group's chemistry.
